Fandom: Crossover, Legend of Korra/One Man Cleanup Crew

Author's Notes: Man, I can't wait to for this month to be over with. I really want to get back to the main story of OMMC. But Korra, Korra, Korra... I think this was the point I was scrambling for fandoms, oi veyyyyy. It's not because I don't know many movies/books/video games, it's more to do with picking ones that can mesh well with with my verse. Or vice versa, as per the rules of the challenge.
I'd say Weather is more accurately Change, and Ocean is really Decay. I suppose they're two opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to transitions and such. But alternate names crop up a lot in OMMC, but we'll get to that later. I picked names at random. Nuan = Nature, Jiang = Ocean, Fu = Weather.
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen! We here at Republic City are excited to bring you another match pitting two different generations against each other! In one corner are our fan favorites for this season, the Fiiiiiiire Ferrets!" The crowd roared, and even Shiro had to pause until it waned so he could be heard again. "In the opposite, just coming out of retirement, whom some of you might remember being the team to take the cup back in-"
"They don't look that tough," said Korra, cracking her neck. They looked to be around in their mid-forties to fifties. The Waterbender of the team reminded her, strangely, of an older Tahno. She wondered if they might be related in some way. The Firebender was a bearded man, which was an odd trait, since most kept minimum facial hair so as to avoid catching themselves on fire; it was either the sign of a master or a fool. The final member was a woman, dark skinned and with gray streaks in her hair.
"Don't get cocky," Mako warned.
"I'm not, but even you have to admit-"
"-The Purple Pentapi! Doesn't quite role off the tongue as, say, Pentapusses, but I didn't write the script, folks." Shiro finally finished his usual history lesson specially reserved for notable occasions such as these.
"You have to admit that's a funny name," Bolin filled in for Korra, laughing. Under normal circumstances, his brother might've rolled his eyes or perhaps even given him a light smack on the head, but he was too busy waiting for the announcer to enter and start the match.
He didn't have to wait long.
"And they're off, folks! Mako throws the first punch, but Nuan manages to block it like a pro! Korra, meanwhile, seems to have set her sights on Jiang and is really letting him have it. Did someone get off on the wrong side of the bed this morning or what? Jiang just dances out of the way and lets his fellow teammate, Fu, deal with the Avatar and... oh, what's this?" Water and fire had met, and steamed filled the arena. "Ah, yes, some of you might remember this tactic of the Pentapi; they really loved the risk of filling the whole place with steam. But will this plan work for them twenty years later? Well, for us it's a waiting game until either things clear up or-"
Just then, a body flew out of the steam. "And someone's been pushed outta the ring already! But who is it? ...Why, it's Fu! So much for that plan, then, but they aren't out of the match yet. At least, I hope so; I've got a fair bit of Yuan on this match, er, that is if I were a gambling man, of course. Moving on, let's see how the rest of this night turns out!"

"If you're just tuning in, here's what happened. After a rocky start of loosing the first round, the Pentapi managed to shake the dust off their limbs--or would it be tentacles? Best not to ponder that too closely, on second thought--and gain footing by winning the next round. They've learned their old bag of tricks won't work on the Fire Ferrets, so let's see if you really can teach an older polar bear dog new tricks or if they should've stayed at home with the grandkids!"
DING. "There's the bell and ohhhhh, Jiang takes a hit and is sent spiraling back into Zone Two, and the Fire Ferrets advance! It's the final round, so it's understandable this is where they go all out, but the their opponents aren't. Could they be waiting for the Fire Ferrets to tire themselves out? Well, it might not work if they can't even keep the Ferrets out of their territory... and Jiang must not be feeling it tonight, because he is out! And there goes Fu as well, taken out while being taken by surprise by his teammate getting knocked out. Now it's three against one and... yes, Nuan is doing good on the defensive, she might just make it and... she takes a hit and falls, but it doesn't look like she's getting back up."
After some debate amongst the referee and medic, it was decided that the opposing earth bender could not continue the match.
"I wonder, folks, if that's an old injury acting up, or just age. Well, regardless, the Fire Ferrets have won once again! ...Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to explain to my wife about what happened to our next egg. Good night, folks."
